I’m just back from the 72nd Annual Indiana Writers’ University Conference, which was a feast of unseasonably cool weather, good words and great people. I taught a craft class called Love Letter to a Stranger, based on an exercise I wrote for this book. I also taught pantoums. Little did I know that when you have the brilliant cartoonist/novelist/force of nature Lynda Barry sitting in on your class (who me nervous?), you get your own cartoon phantom. How cool is that?
